MIGUEL ANGARITA

His landscapes, of colors and forms that appeal to the unforessen and the wild, cannot escape femininity as a theme, considering the fact that Nature es female. They immediately connect themselves with the spectators, both by way of shared memories as of the inner landscapes that we'd all like to paint, but cannot. Angarita's playful rebellious manner, imprinted in his inner landscapes of very personal pictorial expression, award him the perfect excuse for, as the maestro says: “... Release the hands of the artist within, thus granting freedom to the young man that still lingers in him, and that was ‘imprisoned' by the academy...”.
